In a black reflection, I see a lifeless face cloaking torrential violence
but that's no longer my life
That's someone else's life,
a trail of blood I thought I'd left behind
In its pathetic visage, its faults fathomless
spitting shards of shrapnel, enough to slaughter a life
whose misfortune was too stand too close to what is better left behind
and though I dwell within this lack
these notions, they come back
I see blood
but that's no longer in my life
in a mirror at night, torrents of blood
violence and spite
I see me
ooooo
I see death
but that's no longer in my life
in a mirror at night, torrents of death
violence and spite
I see you
ooooo
I stand in isolation
I hear the crack of bones
I focus on starvation, ecstatic and deprived
in a quarantine of frozen blood,
static and maligned
In a black reflection
In a mirror at night
I see torrential violence and death but that's no longer
in my life
It's someone else's life
Two punishing (in a good way!) side-long pieces that explore the shadows of drone, industrial music, and dark ambient. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 26, 2023
